THE latest winner of the Sobell House lottery won a rollover jackpot of £3,500.
John Ayers from Bicester inherited his lottery number from his wife Barbara who received care at the Oxford hospice in 2008 during a long battle with cancer.
Mr Ayers said he was delighted to receive his winnings, adding that the care at the Headington hospice “couldn’t be faulted”.
The lottery costs £1 a week to enter, with a guaranteed weekly £1,000 jackpot rolling over to as much as £25,000.
