VANDALS behind more than 40 instances of graffiti across Witney are being sought by police.
Dozens of graffiti tags have been spotted around the town since January.
They have appeared in Oxford Hill and Newlands, Bridge Street, Mill Street and Ducklington Lane.
The most recent offences were in Corn Street and The Springs, the last of which was on March 27.
The signatures include ‘dose’, ‘reason’, and ‘buph’.
PC Rob Webb said: “The recent spate of graffiti tags in Witney has made our town look very untidy and unwelcoming.
“The Witney Neighbourhood Team is looking at several ways of dealing with this issue and I would appeal to anyone that has any information to please contact the team or Crimestoppers.”
Call the Witney Neighbourhood Policing Team on 101 with any information.
