London Welsh have been relegated from rugby's Aviva Premiership after a 31-14 defeat at the hands of Northampton Saints at the Kassam Stadium this afternoon.
The Exiles had to win their final three games to stand a chance of avoiding the drop in their first season back in the top flight.
But despite again showing their battling qualities, Lyn Jones's side were second best on the day and return to the Championship.
