More than 100 cars are now expected to join a commemorative cavalcade today from Cowley to Birmingham.
The parade of Minis, Maestros, Montegos and Maxis will set off from the BMW Mini plant in Cowley at 8.30am to Longbridge near Birmingham.
And they will be led by a Rover 827 police car built at Cowley in 1996.
The Pride of Longbridge Rally commemorates the 2005 collapse of Rover manufacturing when 6,000 workers lost their jobs.
Organisers had initially thought 100 cars would take part but now believe it will be 110.
