Controversial media reforms would not have stopped press reports linked to the death of a transsexual teacher, Leeds University lecturer Paul Wragg will tell a workshop today.
Lucy Meadows, from Lancashire, is believed to have taken her own life after articles – including a critical Daily Mail opinion piece – about her sex change.
The workshop – at Oxford University’s Faculty of Law in St Cross Road – will also be addressed by other speakers.
