IT may not look it, but this tube and wooden contraption makes sweet music to explain the magic of science.
Jeremy Sampson brought his WOOFYT (Wooden One-octave Organ for Young Technologist) to education centre Science Oxford Live on Wednesday.
About 90 amazed youngsters saw how its network of pumps and bags could result in much-loved melodies like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Happy Birthday. Jeremy Sampson, who led the workshop at the London Place venue, said: “It shows the link between science and music. They loved it, everybody had a go.”
