IN HIS letter (ViewPoints, April 9) Mr Gibson challenges the facts and asks why I am so convinced that the city council is correct in its decision to provide a new pools facility for Oxford.
He adds that I should meet with his campaign group. But, if he refuses to accept the facts as set out by professional consultants, professional engineers, professional architects, professional officers of the city council and the decisions of senior judges of the High Court, can he not see why I do not believe he is open to persuasion.
VAN COULTER, Board Member for Leisure Services, Oxford City Council
