SHE has been tap dancing since she was two.
Now Nicole Faux, 10, is tapping on the door of stardom.
She has made the regional final of nationwide contest Britain Does Variety.
In the last year she has also appeared in two short films, a music video, and has a role in an upcoming feature film, I’m Still Here.
Nicole, left, who attends West Kidlington Primary School, said: “I love performing and tap dancing is so fast and quick, that’s why it’s the best dance.
“ I don’t get nervous or anything, it’s too enjoyable for that.”
Having overcome hundreds of rivals in the heats she will compete against the south’s best acrobats, comics, magicians and contortionists at Kettering Theatre on Sunday, May 19 for a place in the national final in Watford in June.
Winners will perform on Sky’s Showcase TV and at London’s O2 arena for a slice of a £7,500 prize fund.
Her mother Veronica Hughes, of Morrell Close, Kidlington, said: “She is incredible, and so dedicated. She’s a child off stage but on stage she switches into a professional.
Nicole has also won a place at the Oxford Talent Academy.
