Banbury United were indebted to an own goal as they won 1-0 at North Leigh in the A League.

With North Leigh squandering a number of good chances, the decisive moment came in the first half, when defender Cameron Foster stretched to head away and was only able to flick the ball over onrushing keeper Max Benson.

Harwell & Hendred kept alive their hopes of qualifying for the Premier League by coming from behind to win 2-1 at home to Crowmarsh.

James Major gave Crowmarsh a first-half lead, but Harwell hit back after the break to take victory with goals from Tyler Parsons and Finn Hayter.

Izaak Cave hit a hat-trick in Crowmarsh Comets’ 7-0 home win over Milton United in the B Spring League.

He scored twice to set Crowmarsh on the way, before Josh Billingham made it 3-0 at half-time.

Billingham added his second after the break, and Cave completed his hat-trick with a delightful chip.

Captain Tommy Norrington and James Richardson completed the scoring.
