TWO homes could be built on empty land in Headington if city councillors follow the advice of planning officers.
Officers at Oxford City Council have recommended that new homes near Lime Walk should be approved.
Applicant John Warburton wants to build the three-to-four-bedroom homes on land behind 73 to 81 Lime Walk.
The latest application is an amendment to an existing permission, making the homes slightly bigger than in the original application.
It is to be considered by the council’s east area planning committee after it was called in by councillors Ruth Wilkinson, Mike Gotch, David Rundle and Mark Mills.
They said they were worried about the proposed increased size of the new homes and the lack of car parking to serve them.
The committee will meet at 6pm on Tuesday.
