TRAIN services on the Chiltern Line are running again after a man died when he was struck by a train in Bicester earlier today.
The incident happened at about 1.20pm near the bridge carrying the line over the A4095 Howes Lane at the north-west edge of the town.
The death is not being treated as suspicious. South Central Ambulance Service spokesman James Keating-Wilkes said paramedics were sent to the scene but the man was dead when they arrived.
Train services were delayed by up to an hour as a result of the line being closed between Banbury and Princes Risborough. Knock-on delays are expected to last until later this afternoon.
