Oxford University archaeologists are today examining new finds from a historic naval battle.
A recovery project has uncovered 10 ancient bronze warship rams, mostly from a site on the sea-bed near Sicily.
The 23-year naval battle between Rome and Carthage took place during the First Punic War in 241BC.
Experts will show the finds at the Ioannou Centre for Classical and Byzantine Studies, in St Giles.
