A MAN has been charged with two sexual assaults during house break-ins in Bicester.

Two women were allegedly assaulted during the break-ins on the Southwold estate overnight between Friday and Saturday.

Ashley Blossom, 26, of Lime Crescent, Bicester, faces with two charges of burglary and two charges of sexual assault.

Bethany Green, 21, of no fixed address, was charged with receiving stolen goods.

Blossom was remanded in custody and Green was bailed to appear at Banbury Magistrates’ Court today.

Thames Valley Police said a home was broken into at about 5am on Saturday. A games console, mobile phone, headphones and DVDs were stolen. An intruder assaulted a woman who was asleep on a sofa, then fled.

Another property was broken into just after 6am. Police said a man stole the contents of a handbag and sexually assaulted a woman while she was asleep in bed before fleeing.

  • A 39-year-old man arrested on suspicion of breaking into a home and sexually assaulting a woman in the Speedwell Street area of Oxford on March 19 will answer bail on April 18.
