I ASSUMED that the recent publicity given to a police officer suing a garage owner for £50,000 for injuries received when she tripped over a kerbstone was a prelude to an April Fool’s joke.
It now appears to be a serious matter based on a genuine incident. I would have thought that she would have been better advised to have gone to Specsavers.
