The Queen’s cousin the Duke of Gloucester is in Oxford today to give the royal seal of approval to three newly completed projects.
Prince Richard, pictured, will be formally opening Vale House dementia care home in Sandford-on-Thames, Abingdon’s County Hall Museum in Market Place, and the University Church of St Mary the Virgin in Oxford’s High Street.
Major restoration projects have taken place at each.
The Duke is to give a speech at St Mary the Virgin at 2.30pm after meeting the chancellor of the University of Oxford, Lord Chris Patten.
