CINDERELLA was a storming success at West Oxford Community Centre in Botley Road.

More than 500 people flocked to see the second pantomime put on by West Oxford Pantomime Association.

The four shows were performed to sell-out crowds last week.

Primary School teacher Dave Lambert from West Oxford was cast as ugly sister Griselda. Dave Molan was cast as Gertrude.

The 42-year-old said: “It was really great fun. I really enjoyed it, we were the two pantomime Daves. “It gave us the chance to dress up as women. I now find myself looking in my wife’s cupboards at her nail polish.

“ I wanted to be Cinderella so I just made the most of being an ugly sister.

“The first pantomime was Peter Pan last year which I went to see and loved so I thought I’d give it a go this year.”
