REVEALED in our Badvent calendar today are a suspected charity cash thief and a man accused of attacking a police officer.

Police have arrest warrants for Jennifer Pugh who they allege stole money from a collection box from Oxford University’s Lincoln College.

They also want to interview Nicholas Peppiatt who is suspected of criminal damage, assaulting a Pc, and possessing an offensive weapon.

The pair’s faces have been revealed as part of the Oxford Mail and Thames Valley Police’s seasonal campaign to bring in suspected criminals before Christmas.

Pugh, 25, of no fixed address, is accused of taking an unknown value of goods from the Aldi supermarket in Botley Road, Oxford, on October 1.

Police believe she pinched the charity cash on January 26 and stole booze worth £71 from Marks & Spencer in Queen Street, Oxford, the same day.

Police warrants officer Alison Edwards said: “Pugh needs to go before the courts and I hope there is someone out there who can help us trace her.”

Pugh is described as white, 5ft 6ins tall, of average build, blue eyes and shoulder-length mouseyhair.

Peppiatt, 29, also of no fixed address, was allegedly involved in a public order incident in Abingdon on June 17 and was arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon.

Police also want to speak to him over an alleged assault on an officer on July 24 and an incident of criminal damage, where a BMW roof and bonnet was damaged on July 29.

Ms Edwards added: “I’m sure that there is someone out there who may have seen him or who knows of his whereabouts and can assist us in tracing him.”

Peppiatt is described as white, 6ft tall, of slim build, light brown hair and blue eyes.
