REVEALED behind the first door of our Christmas criminal calendar is metal thief Mark Hendron, who stripped lead from schools, charities and a church.

The 25-year-old was jailed for nine months at Oxford Crown Court in September after admitting his crimes. But the father-of-two is now wanted for recall to prison after he left his Westfield, Harwell, home and breached his curfew conditions.

Police say he has not been seen since early November. He is believed to have associates in Didcot, Wantage and Abingdon.

Hendron is about 5ft 7in tall, of thin build with blue eyes and short ginger hair. He has the nickname ‘Sparky’.
