One of two drivers who died following separate crashes in Oxfordshire over the weekend has been named. He was James Franklin, 21, from Monmouth Road in Oxford.
He died in the John Radcliffe hospital from injuries he suffered after his car collided with a van near Cokethorpe School, Ducklington, on Saturday morning.
The inquest on Mr Franklin was opened and adjourned in Oxford on Tuesday. The name of the other man who died after his van left the road near Wantage in the early hours of Sunday will not been released until relatives have been informed.
The accident happened in Manor Road, Wantage. The man, in his 50s, was taken to the Great Western Hospital in Swindon, where he died from multiple injuries.
