Abingdon United crashed out of the FA Trophy after an 8-4 preliminary round defeat against Hemel Hempstead Town.
The match started controversially when, after two minutes, Anaclet Odhiambo had the ball in the net, but although referee Ian Rathbone awarded the goal, his assistant - some 75 yards away - adjudged that Odhiambo had used a hand.
Hemel took the lead on 22 minutes when a quick break found Sippetts, who ran clear to smash home.
On 35 minutes, a loose ball fell kindly for Lawford, who doubled the lead, before the same player made it 3-0.
Worse was to follow as Abingdon found themselves 4-0 down when Valenti fired home from 30 yards.
Odhiambo pulled a goal back as he sprinted between two defenders before finishing smartly.
Eight minutes after the break, Hemel restored their four-goal advantage when Sippett out-jumped the Abingdon defence to place a header past Simon Tricker.
Lawford completed his hat-trick from the spot after being brought down in the box, then he added his fourth and Hemel's seventh.
At the other end, Abingdon's Julian McCalmon was felled in the area, allowing Ryan Curtin to reduce the arrears from the spot.
But again Hemel hit back when Lawford's shot was beaten out by Tricker into the path of Sinclair, who rifled home No 8.
Odhiambo grabbed a third goal for Abingdon, and the scoring wasn't finished yet, as Andy Ballard side-footed home to grab Abingdon's fourth at the end of an incredible match.
