An elderly woman escaped serious injury when she was knocked down by a 4x4 vehicle in Abingdon yesterday.
The pensioner was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital,in Oxford, for treatment following the accident in Lady Eleanor Court, off Drayton Road, at 4.45pm.
A spokesman for Oxfordshire Ambulance Service said her injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
