About 1,200 people lost power this morning when an overhead line came down near Abingdon.
Residents of Abingdon, Frilford and Garford lost power at 9.15am when the high voltage overhead line came down near Millets Farm.
The power cut affected the traffic lights at the Frilford turn. Engineers re-erected the line and power was restored by 11.29am.
