TOTS and young children in Oxfordshire have a chance to take part in a new fun, friendly football coaching course.
Mini Dribblers offers coaching for children aged two to seven in and around the county, focusing on developing social skills, while introducing a football as much as they can.
The business was set up in early 2012 by Ben Sadler – whose aim was to make football sessions accessible and fun for the youngsters.
He works together with coach James Lambert. Mr Sadler is taking his UEFA B coaching course and all coaches are FA qualified, CRB checked and first aid trained.
Alex Jones, took her son Nico, three, to the session in Kidlington on Tuesday.
Mrs Jones, 32, from Kidlington said: “He has been interested in kicking a ball around but not properly playing football before.
“He’s got a couple of friends from nursery who do it with him and he seems to enjoy it. The coaches are really good with the kids.”
Courses currently running with spaces available are at Madley Park, in Witney, on Thursdays from 9.30am to 10.15am, at Oxford Brookes Harcourt Hill on Saturday from 9am to 9.45am, at Henry Box School in Witney on Sundays from 10am to 10.45am and at Evans Lane, Kidlington, on Tuesdays from 4pm to 4.45pm.
