A ‘supermolecule’ which could detect the very earliest stages of cancer and help fight the disease has been discovered by Oxford scientists.
University students at the Cancer Research UK/MRC Gray Institute for Radiation Oncology and Biology made the breakthrough when monitoring high levels of a protein found in pre-cancerous cells.
