CHILDREN launched a campaign in 1986 to encourage people to get more involved with their churches.
They held a service at All Saints Church, then released balloons to spread the message.
The second picture dates from 1981 when the village school, which served Churchill and nearby Sarsden, was due to close.
Education Secretary Sir Keith Joseph had supported a county council decision to shut the school, which had just five pupils.
In the third picture, the village blacksmiths are seen at work in 1962. Can anyone name them?
