THREE teenage boys from Carterton have been arrested after items including mobile phones and satellite navigation systems were stolen from cars.
Five people have reported thefts from their vehicles in the last three weeks.
One of the incidents happened overnight between October 23 and 24 where two phones and a sat nav were stolen from a vehicle in Bluebell Way.
Dc Kev Middlecote, from Witney police station, said: “I would like to ask everyone to check their belongings in their vehicles and to report any stolen items to police.
“I would also urge everyone to lock their vehicles securely overnight.”
Two of the teenagers arrested are 17 and one 16.
All were released on bail.
Anyone with information should call Dc Middlecote on 101.
