A 17-year-old girl was dragged to the entrance of an Oxford park and assaulted by two men in an attempted robbery.
The girl was walking alone in Dunnock Way, Blackbird Leys, at about 9pm on Tuesday when the men, who were both black, tried to steal her handbag.
She was dragged to the entrance of Gillians Park and assaulted by the men, leaving her with minor cuts.
One attacker was in his 20s, of medium build and about 5ft 6in. He was wearing a black hooded top and dark tracksuit bottoms.
The second man was in his 20s, of slim build and about 5ft 8in. He was wearing a grey hooded Nike top and brown trousers.
Police only released information about the attempted robbery yesterday.
