OXFORD: A total of 178 cyclists were stopped by police for not having lights on Tuesday night.
Officers pulled over those without lights from two locations in High Street and one in Botley Road over three hours.
Those stopped have the choice of paying the £30 fine, disputing it in a magistrates’ court or avoiding the fine by buying cycle lights within seven days.
