S OXON: A best man on bail was given permission to extend his curfew so he could attend the wedding.
Christopher Manning, 28, of Bakers Piece, Kingston Blount, was told at Oxford Crown Court that his curfew was extended to 10pm for Saturday only to attend the celebration in Stokenchurch with his parents.
Recorder John Hardy QC said on Friday: “I am going to vary this bail on condition – only if he abides by the condition – no alcohol not even a little something – lemonade only.
“Any breach he is to be brought back to me.”
Manning is on bail for a breach of a community order and his next court hearing is November 12.
