People will get a chance to find out more about planned sports facilities in the town at an exhibition in Bicester’s John Paul II Centre on Saturday, November 3.
Drop-in sessions at the centre in The Causeway will run from 11am to 2pm and will detail facilities to be provided at Bicester Sports Village, at the Kingsmere estate. Plans for the 17-hectare site include football and rugby pitches, tennis courts, an athletics track, all-weather pitch, cycling track and changing facilities and clubhouse. Cherwell District Council’s deputy leader George Reynolds said: “We would like everyone to come along and give us their thoughts.”
