MOVES to crack down on “exploitation” by mobile home park operators have been welcomed by Oxford West and Abingdon MP Nicola Blackwood.
Parliament is debating a bill aimed at tougher regulation of the industry, such as ending sites owners’ veto on sales of homes on their sites.
The Conservative MP said concerns that councils were not getting to grips with such issues “reflect the problems that my constituents have experienced”.
She said on Monday: “This exploitation of the vulnerable and elderly must be stopped.”
