THE farm worker who died after he fell through a barn roof was yesterday named as Dean Henderson-Smith from Long Wittenham.
The 46-year-old fell through a skylight at Great Park Farm near Besselsleigh on Thursday afternoon.
He was flown to Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital by air ambulance, but died of his injuries.
Thames Valley Police and the Health and Safety Executive launched a joint investigation following his death.
Yesterday tributes were paid on Facebook to Mr Henderson-Smith, who lived in High Street.
His son Jacob Henderson, an Abingdon & Witney College student, said: “The happiest, bubbliest bloke on the planet. I miss you so dad. I love you. Xxx”
Alex Henderson said: “He’ll be remembered fondly, that’s a good measure of the man.”
And Ashtan Branch said: “He is an amazing bloke always put a smile on the faces that meant most to him... He will rest in peace.”
