BANBURY: A man has denied striking another man in the face with an axe.
Barrie Potts pleaded not guilty to the attack on 44-year-old Paul Williams.
Mr Williams was rushed to hospital after he was allegedly hit in the head with the axe in the attack on August 2.
Appearing at Oxford Crown Court yesterday Potts, of Marlborough Road, Banbury, was told that he must return to court on December 2 for a trial.
Potts, 27, was remanded in custody.
