PARSONS Peter John at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, on Wednesday 16th November 2022, aged 86. Husband (widower) of Barbara Macleod, née Montagna. Research Student of Christ Church, Oxford, 1964-1989; Regius Professor of Greek, 1989-2003; Fellow of the British Academy. Masterly scholar, gifted teacher, beloved friend; sadly missed by all who knew him. Funeral in Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford OX1 1DP, at 2.15 p.m. on Friday 2nd December 2022.
