I’m deeply saddened at the passing of Henry. He was a figure I looked up to in growing up and spending time with him and his family on many lovely occasions. I had the pleasure of coaching at the OUABC during his successful coaching career and respected his ability to turn novices to the sport not just into great boxers but gave them a start in understanding hard work and determination. His remarkable record along side Percy Lewis and Alf Gallie attributed them all to have a beautiful Gym in their honour. I’m proud to have known him and send my Deepest condolences to Jenny, Rebecca, Jason and Nick. God bless & Rip Henry sleep tight. 🙏🏽🥊💙
