BURLEY Professor Jeffery CBE (Jeff) It is with deep regret that his family announce the death of Professor Jeffery (Jeff) Burley CBE which occurred on the 27th December 2021 at home in Frilford Heath. This followed a long and courageous battle with cancer. Jeff was former Director of Forestry at Oxford University and a Fellow of Green Templeton College. He leaves behind his wife of 60 years Jean, sons Jeremy and Tim, four grandchildren and one great grandchild. The funeral will be held at Tubney Church at 12-00 noon on Thursday 20th January 2022, followed by a family-only cremation. Family-only flowers please with donations, if desired, to Tubney Church. It is hoped that a wider Service of Remembrance will be held in the middle of the year in Oxford, details to follow.
