MURPHY Edward (Eddie) Peacefully at home on 29th July 2021, aged 83 years. Much loved husband of Maureen, dearly loved dad of Nigel, Claire, Paul and Andrea. Funeral Service at Oxford Crematorium on Thursday 19th August at 3.00pm.

So sorry to hear of Eddie's death. I met him when I first started at SCAS. He trained me on the post run,and all I can remember is bing bang bo! He was a wonderful guy and we had such a laugh every time we saw each other. I would walk into the yard and when I saw him shouted Mervin and we both laughed. The last time I saw him was at Mick Green's leaving do. And of course I told him a story about Mervin. I am so proud to have known this wonderful person.
RIP Eddie I will never forget you. Barry

What very sad news to here Eddie has passed away. He was a star he always had a story to make us all laugh at South Central Ambulance Service Eddie was one of the best member of staff and he will be sadly missed by all of his work colleagues in the Logistics Section at the Churchill Hospital Site. Rest in peace Eddie you were a legend Max Jacobs
