ALCOCK John Of Leicester, formerly of Oxford Passed away peacefully on 30th May 2021, aged 75 years, at the Leicester Royal Infirmary. Beloved brother of Mary, loving uncle to Alison, Sally, Marie, Pete and Juan. Will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. John will be fondly remembered in Oxford for his time as an Oxford in Bloom Judge, a panellist on BBC Radio Oxford Gardeners Question Time, a regular attender at Oxford City Stadium for the Speedway and Greyhounds, a member of Oxford United and a retired City Council employee. John's funeral service will take place at 1:30pm on Monday 28th June 2021 at Gilroes Cemetery Chapel, Leicester followed by interment in Gilroes Cemetery.
