Jeff Tearle

So sorry to hear the news of Jeff's passing, my heartfelt condolences to Maggie and the family. I taught with Jeff at Summertown Middle and at Frideswide and have so much to thank him for. He was such an encouragement and invaluable support for me during my NQT year and for many years after. He introduced me to the world of outdoor education at Glasbury and Kilvrough and I subsequently spent many years taking groups to these centres but have to admit I hated then and still do.... caving!!! He was a tremendous character, a great dry sense of humour, an influencer and he so loved what he did and I'm sure that hundreds of children benefitted from his enthusiasm and commitment to his job and their development. RIP Jeff, so sorry not to have caught up recently, thank you for all you did for me in shaping my career and helping me become the teacher I was. We had some great times together, thank you that I still have those memories to cherish.

RIP Mr. Tearless. You were a fantastic art at Northway Secondry Schoolteacher and made me believe in myself and my capabilities. My love of art has been passed on to my 3 daughters. You were my inspiration and I never forgot you 🙏🏻
