Barbara Wilson (nee Ross)

WILSON Barbara (nee Ross) Died after a short illness on 7th December aged 89. Born in 1931 in Dordon, Warwickshire, she qualified as a librarian, initially working in Surbiton where she met her beloved husband, Christopher, to whom she was married for 61 years. After raising a family in Didcot, she resumed working life with the Information Office at Harwell and subsequently worked at several Oxford University College libraries including St John's College. She finally retired in 2014 to look after Chris, who predeceased her. Barbara is survived by her six children, nine grandchildren and her extended family, who will all miss her immensely. Barbara was also a very good friend and colleague with the art of being a good listener. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
