BAKER Anne Former Headmistress of St Francis Primary School, Cowley (1976 - 1989) Died peacefully in the John Radcliffe Hospital on 28th June. Grateful thanks to the medical team who tended her. Funeral Service in St Mary's Church in Anne's home village of Comberton in Cambridgeshire on 3rd August, 12.20pm. Donations to be shared between St Mary's Church, Comberton and the Dogs Trust.

I first met Anne while she was standing on a table at St Francis school. Always hands on, she was fixing something to the ceiling - no health and safety in those days.
A wonderful Head, always there for parents and pupils.
