CARNE Alan 12 August 1932 to 9 March 2019. Sadly missed husband of Diana and father of David and Owen. Oxford-born Alan, an Alumni of Wadham College and UCL and ex-Rutherford Laboratories scientist, passed away peacefully in his sleep after a long battle with dementia. The funeral will be held at 2.00pm on Wednesday 27th March at St John's Chapel, Oxford Crematorium, Bayswater Road, OX3 9RZ. Well-wishers welcome, no flowers please but donations if desired to The Alzheimer's Society.
