A PRODUCTION of Charlotte Bronte's classic novel Jane Eyre will be gracing the stage this summer in South Oxfordshire.
The socially-distanced show will run at The Great Hall in Cholsey, near Wallingford on Saturday August 14 at 8pm.
Sussex based theatre company, 'This is My Theatre' is one of the first theatre companies to get back on the road and show their brand new adaptation of Jane Eyre.
The show will be packed with action and romance as well as live music and song and will bring some much needed joy this summer.
The theatre company creates shows for all spaces from historic buildings and churches to purpose built theatres and open-air venues.
The production will be performed by a small cast with Madeline Hatt playing Jane Eyre, Ethan Taylor playing Edward Rochester, Lilly Smith playing Helen Jane's childhood friend and Mrs Fairfax and Simon Stallard will play Mr Brocklehurst and St John.
Jane Eyre follows the life of a young woman who has lived her life feeling an outcast but finds home as governess to a young girl in the care of Mr Rochester. However, all is not as it seems as Jane discovers that many secrets are held by both the residents and walls of Thornfield Hall.
The performance will run at approximately 90 minutes without an interval. Tickets are now on sale for the performance at The Great Hall priced at £15, via www.thisismytheatre.com/janeeyreatcholsey
