HAILING from Kent, Onlookers are one of the country’s most exciting upcoming bands.
Consisting of brothers Dale and Callum Norton and school friends Jamie Darby and Thomas Ford, the boys have caused a real stir across the South, wowing audiences with classic sounding bluesy rock that belies their tender years.
Towards the end of 2008 they went on tour with One Night Only - including a date at Oxford's O2 Academy -and are currently on tour with Northern Ireland's greatest export since Georgie Best - General Fiasco.
Onlookers are no ordinary band and draw influences from the 60s and 70s - despite only being born in the 90s.
They are currently promoting their debut single Canterbury Tales, which is out on Rough Trade, and are being tipped as ones to watch for the coming year.
On Friday they play our very own Jericho Tavern.
You'd be a fool to miss it!
Support comes from Liddington, Night Portraits and Off The Radar Tickets are £6 on the door or £5 in advance from wegottickets Age 18+ Doors 8pm For more details check out the band's myspace site.
