The Inspiring Middle-earth Tolkien exhibition at Banbury Museum now has an extra attraction – visitors can also have a Hobbit ’Second Breakfast’ during their visit on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The museum's canal-side 'Cafe Quay' is offering the Merry's Mushroom Medley, a recipe by Tolkien expert Angie Gardner to complement the current exhibition, open Monday – Saturday 10am – 5pm until 19 June.

The programme kicks off tonight with the Masterclass Dinner Party at 6pm, with inspiring dishes from starters through to desserts.
On June 2 an Italian-themed cookery school will take the pain out of half term for 9-14-year-olds and the £39 price includes a work book, lunch and goodies to take home.
On June 12 it’s bread day – a hands-on event that allows you to understand the secrets of working with dough. At the end of the session participants will match their creations with cheese and wine.
