This is probably the most economical place to enjoy a hearty Yuletide nosh-up, writes Paul Stammers.
The restaurant is charging £17.50 per person for a selection of cold cuts, olives, dips and breads as starters; A trio of festive sausages (turkey and cranberry, pork and chestnut, wild winter game) served with seasonal vegetables over parsley and thyme mashed potato, with a rich red wine jus. Veggie sausages are also available.
Christmas pudding is served with brandy cream or a homemade crumble with custard. The wine and bottled beer list isn't at all bad. However, the eatery, which continues to pick up rave reviews, is on the petite size and so it might be difficult to book a table if you don't get your festive skates on.
But you might be able to enjoy the Lunch Special - £4.50 for bangers and mash, served between noon and 3pm, Monday to Friday.
Max Mason, right, who owns The Big Bang, says most of the produce comes from within 20 miles of the restaurant.
