Held in the grounds of the award-winning pub, there will be handmade crafts and a broad selection of produce.

Confirmed traders, with more to follow, include: Callow Farm Butchery from Stonesfield, near Witney, Sweet Fancies traditional country baking, Clive's Pies, Tasty Fudge, the celebrated Adlestrop Pork Sausage with demonstrations on how to remove a pigeon breast from the pigeon, cook it and serve it in a salad, Every Last Crumb, a new mother and son business selling fresh homemade quiches, savoury pies, pasties, delicious homemade sausage rolls, and cheese scones, and Christmas Common Conserves.

They will be accompanied by music, facepainting, the Clinic on the Green in Bletchingdon to ease your aches and pains, Stonesfield Soap Company and more.

* Wykham Park Farm Shop in Banbury is hosting a Cheese and Wine Tasting Evening with Simeon Hudson Evans from Aubrey Allen & North Oxfordshire Wine on Thursday, October 9, pairing wine and artisan cheeses, and teaching how to put together a perfect cheeseboard, with artisan breads from Bakergirl.

* The new Carluccio’s in Little Clarendon Street is running classes for all you foodies out there.

Kids will enjoy the focaccia making on Monday, October 27, at 10am – a friendly class where children learn the art of making traditional focaccia and a delicious dessert. Aimed at ages six to 12, the class lasts an hour including a meal and costs £15.

Risotto-making runs later that day. Learn how to prepare risotto, including making stock, and a dessert using rice flour. Sit down with your fellow cooks in the class and enjoy what you prepare with a glass of wine. All guests leave with recipe cards to inspire some home-cooking. It costs £35.

Then on November 26 try pasta making. Learn how to make pasta dough from scratch, create the filling for ravioli, roll the pasta and make ravioli, tortellini and ribbons, and finally cook the pasta and sauce. It costs £35.
