THREE shows for children aged from three to 11m are included in a half-term holiday special at the Mill Theatre, Banbury.
Bink and the Riddle of the Sphinx will be the first presentation on Tuesday.
Described by the Daily Express as "hugely entertaining" it is the long-awaited show from the People's Theatre Company, which local audiences will remember for its popular recent production, The Witch's Bogey.
The new show is a fantasy pop musical for adults and children about a heroic elf and his battle to save his kingdom from the curse of Greek mythology's most terrifying creature.
Next Thursday, the Mill will play host to Puppet Lab with a welcome return for Each Peach Pear Plum - adapted from the popular book by Janet and Allen Ahlberg.
In this production, for three- to six-year-olds, has songs and music to bring to life a variety of nursery rhyme and fairy tale puppet characters such as Tom Thumb and Cinderella, on their way to Old Mother Hubbard's for some plum pie.
And on Saturday, October 28, DNA Theatre Company will bring a charming and comical version of Puss in Boots to the Banbury stage.
Every facet of a classic fairy tale will be included - an enchanting cat, a nasty ogre, a palace, a kingdom, and the love of a princess.
The story is told with lashings of wit, skilled puppetry, masks, and a wonderful set that will entrance parents and carers every bit as much as the children.
