THE only way is Essex this Friday, when Southend’s finest, The Horrors, return to town for a pre-Halloween show to sooth our tortured souls.
The show follows the release of the former-Mercury-nominated shoe-gazing garage-punk-rockers’ third album Skying.
It will see Faris Badwan, and his bunch of schlock-horror obsessed Thames Estuary geezers, rocking Oxford’s O2 Academy with classics like Sheena is a Parasite, Gloves and Still Life and the kind of new tunes which have won over crowds everywhere from Glastonbury to Reading.
Doors open at 6.30pm. Tickets are £12.00 from wegottickets.com
