IMAGINE a band with all the kick-butt tunes of rock giants Metallica... but made up entirely of girls? I know it sounds like a headbanger’s fantasy.
But it’s no dream. The US self-styled ‘metal chicks’ go under the name Misstalicca and on Saturday, they will be rocking the O2 Academy.
Formed in 2008, by drummer and tennis prodigy, Kaleen Reading and singer-guitarist Gina Randazzo; the pair were united after Kaleen posted an ad for “a sick metal chick to rock out with”.
The chemistry was perfect – and with Hetfield in their hearts, they built the ultimate tribute band with Gigi Gleason on guitar and Teddi Tarno on bass.
Don’t miss a chance to see the best all-girl tribute act on their first UK tour. Tickets are £7.
